Signis Bijhan Region organised a training cum assembly program from November 19-21,2021 at SDC (Social Development Centre) Ranchi Jharkhand on the topic “Strategies for Effective Christian Communication in the Post Covid Era for the Youth and Signis members of Bijhan Region. 25 youths,16 Signis members and 5 Resource persons participated in the programme

The resource persons beautifully threw light on the following topics:

1-Fr. Cyprian Kullu:
a-Meaning, definition and process of media and Communion
b-Different Types of Communication
c-History of Communication
d-Functions, impacts of communication
e-Church and Media
f-Theology of Communication
g-News writing, Advertisement

2-Mr. Frank Krishner: Media Literacy

3-Fr. Peter Mahender SJ: Communicating the legacy of Fr.Stain Swamy

4- Auxiliary Bishop of Ranchi, Rt Rev.Theodore Mascarenhas: Role of the church Communication in the Post Covid Era.

All these topics were elaborately discussed with the youth and the participants learnt a lot.

The second part was Business Session in which we discussed about our activities and how to strengthen our Region. We admitted 2 new members in our Region:1-Arnold Charles Dungdung individual member and 2-Fr. Paulus Baxla Hazaribagh Diocese Institutional member.
