Mangaluru : On 21st May 2017 at the Valedictory function of Summer Course 2017 at Sandesha Fr Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Director of Youth of Mangalore Diocese, addressing the students said "Every child is born with talents. The opportunities provided by institutions like Sandesha and parents will help them to nurture them. Interest and desire to learn any art form should be supported by parents". In his speech he appreciated the participants for using their time gainfully at Sandesha learning music, dance and art.
Sandesha foundation for culture and Education had organised summer course from May 1st to May 21st, 2017. 293 students participated in which keyboard, Guitar, western dance, western vocal, public speaking and drawing & painting were taught to the participants. The students gave a demonstration of their new found skills at the function.
Certificates were presented to the participants. Best students were given prizes and the staff and teachers of the course were honored. Students shared their experience of the course.

Sandesha has been organising several activities for the promotion of Indian arts and fostering goodwill and harmony in the various sections of the society through the medium of art, culture, education and media. It is running the Karnataka Kala Kendra where the convenient after school hour’s classes are run to teach the children these classical and performing arts. Fr Victor Vijay Lobo is the director and Br Victor Crasta OFM Cap is the assistant director of Sandesha which is under the auspices of the Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops Council.
